Introduce guests and match people needing help with experts.

Session 1: Make mountains in Blender from height maps


7:15pm - 7:45pm
Speaker: John Flower

Blender is a 3d modelling app that can be used to create terrain. John will show how he has used Blender to create mountains from free height maps. He has created a tutorial on this, which you can view here.

7:45 - 8pm
Coffee Break & Helpdesk

8pm - 8:20pm
People needing help can get together with experts to get answers. Otherwise grab a cuppa and spin yarns :)

Session 2: Asterisk PBX

8:25pm - 8:55pm
Speaker: Brynn Neilson

Brynn will demonstrate how Spinning Planet is using a $300 Asterisk PBX appliance for their office phone system and also how he has linked his cellphone to it so all his outgoing calls go through the office PBX.
