For those with iPhones and linux, Kernel version 2.6.34 now has the ipheth USB tethering driver in the main source code so you can just plug in your iphone (iOS3 and higher) as a GSM cell modem and get online anywhere there's coverage.

Scrap what I said about SIP-COMMUNICATOR. The sound squality of calls was rubbish. Went back to using Ekiga.

I like the idea of MOSS but i don't like how it maintains focus on open source. What about free software that isn't nessecarially open source but is extendable through APIs

What do you reckon about changing our name? PLUG doesn't sound very authoritative and only represents a small part of what we do. How about something like "Manawatu Open Source Society (MOSS)"
